Associate Director - Transaction Services

Lead financial due diligence engagements end to end, drive client relationships and business development, and help scale our transaction services practice.

Mayfair, W1 · Full time

About the role

As an Associate Director in Transaction Services at Queen’s Tower Advisory, you will lead client engagement and actively participate in business development. Driving critical workstreams on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements. Acting in a senior capacity overseeing the delivery team and working with leadership, you will manage junior staff, engage directly with clients, and ensure the successful execution of projects.

You will be a key contributor to the firm’s high-performance culture, with clear opportunities for progression to Director and beyond.

Role & responsibilities

  • Engagement Management: Own and deliver workstreams on financial due diligence projects, ensuring output quality and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, helping to interpret findings and deliver actionable, financial and commercial insights.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor Analysts and Executives; provide coaching and promote high-quality work.
  • Technical Delivery: Use advanced analytics, AI-enabled tools, and automation to improve reporting, data analysis, and client delivery.
  • Business Development Support: Assist in the preparation of proposals, pitch materials, and market research for potential clients.
  • Practice Development: Support the evolution of QTA’s methodologies, templates, and knowledge base.

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / CA / CPA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience in Transaction Services or financial due diligence.
  • Solid experience at a Big 4 or leading advisory firm, with exposure to both private equity and corporate clients.
  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, with a track record of translating financial data into client-ready insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic about the role of technology in deal execution.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including delegation, review, and prioritisation.

Critically, we are looking for individuals who are:

  • Entrepreneurial and motivated by building and shaping capability
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growth, high-performance environment
  • Passionate about leveraging technology and AI to redefine how work is delivered

Why Queen’s Tower Advisory

  • Independence: Free from audit or financing conflicts, enabling broader, more aligned client support
  • Tech-enabled delivery: AI and analytics embedded into every engagement for faster, deeper insights
  • End-to-end exposure: Work across the full deal lifecycle - not just entry and exit points
  • High-impact environment: Lean teams, senior exposure, and meaningful responsibility from day one
  • Meritocratic growth: Progression driven by impact, not tenure
  • Shared success: Equity participation and ownership at all levels, aligning individual contribution directly with the long-term success of the firm
